Having returned to his last winning mark he attracted market interest at Salisbury (6f, soft) last month, but only managed to beat two home; half-brother and dam both AW winners so worth keeping an eye on.

Deserves credit for faring clear best of the runners who raced in the smaller near-side group in the Portland (5.5f, soft) last month; now back on same mark as for Windsor success (6f) in May; possibilities.

Not overly affected by the going; three handicap wins, at 7f and 6f; the return to 5f didn't work out behind Call Me Ginger at Ascot last week and this slightly longer trip is worth a go but this race asks more of him than the usual company he keeps.
