Good record on turf for new yard, winning cosily at Pontefract 18 days ago (5f, good); a 5lb rise shouldn't prevent another good run.

9st 6lb

J: Ryan Sexton

T: Julie Camacho

Five-time turf winner; only 2lb higher than for her Redcar win last summer (6f, good to firm) and her two AW runs this year aren't the ones to judge her on (blindfold slow to be removed last time); leading contender.

8st 11lb

Last five wins have come on turf but she was successful on Polytrack as a 3yo; ran as though in need of her Newcastle reappearance (6f, Tapeta) in February and no surprise if she fares better this time.

Alpine Girl Career Form And Notable Achievements

Alpine Girl is yet to win in her career, and is yet to finish in the top three in any of her races. Her first race saw her finish fifth behind Palm Lily, before a fourth placed effort behind the impressive Queen Me at Haydock. Following a 76 day break, she returned in September with a good fourth at Yarmouth, before a disappointing eighth-placed finish at Yarmouth the following month.
