Triple winner around 6f; stepped up on reappearance form with a career-best effort at Hamilton last week; penalty to carry (will be 2lb higher in future) back over this trip but leading contender.

Essentially very disappointing after a Carlisle win last summer that promised so much (6f, good); still looks well handicapped if he can rediscover his mojo and his Doncaster reappearance isn't the run to judge him on as the ground was deep and he pulled far too hard through the first two furlongs; wouldn't be suited by a tactical affair but there is pace in this field and he could have a big run in him.

Came good for Grant Tuer with easy win at Carlisle (6f, good) last summer and should also be suited by today's trip-and-ground combination but is unraced since finishing last of 24 in Ayr Bronze Cup in September.
