Form:

Made the frame in four of her seven bumpers but has her work cut out on Flat debut.
Form: 8-9706
OR: 41
W: 10st 1lb
Age: 4 yo Filly
Very modest 41-rated filly who has struggled in handicaps of late; cheekpieces.
Form: 40-3
OR: 81
W: 9st 3lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
Plenty of debut promise when fourth in good-class Curragh maiden last summer (good) but three months later never sighted in Goffs Million over same C&D on soft; back on track when third here (1m, good to yielding) on return but soft ground a concern.
Form:
OR:
W: 9st 3lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
Time Test filly; 4,000gns yearling; half-sister to winners Jonnie (11.5f; RPR 78) and Monna Vanna (French 1m/8.5f inc 2yo/AW); dam German 7f winner; best watched.
Form:
OR:
W: 9st 3lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
Price increased to 45,000euros as a yearling; half-sister to winners Imperial Mountain (7f AW inc 2yo; RPR 89) and Exhalation (1m AW; 72); dam 1m1f winner (stayed 1m4f; 81), market can guide.
Form: 62
OR:
W: 9st 3lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
Built on Leopardstown debut sixth when runner-up to strong favourite at Cork (10.5f, soft), beaten 5l; the form of that maiden hasn't worked out but she's clearly got ability; each-way possibilities.
Form: 53
OR:
W: 9st 3lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
Wootton Bassett filly; finished behind a longer-priced stablemate (who was third) when fifth at Leopardstown on debut; cheekpieces applied (retained) when third of 10 at that venue (1m2f, good) on latest; improvement on the cards.
Form: 7
OR:
W: 9st 3lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
Fair debut effort when midfield in Leopardstown maiden (1m, good) four weeks ago, keeping on late and beaten 7l; entitled to strip fitter now for in-form stable.
OUR TIP
Form: 23 BF
OR:
W: 9st 3lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
Camelot filly a 270,000gns yearling; promising debut run in 1m2f Leopardstown fillies' maiden (yielding) when chasing home a clear winner and 3l in front of Pink Coral; got going late when third at Cork (1m4f, soft to heavy) since; drop back in trip not ideal but holds Irish Oaks entry; respected.

Shambata uniform
Form: 4
OR:
W: 9st 3lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
New Bay filly showed plenty of ability on Naas debut (10.5f, good) in April, slowly into stride but made late gains into fourth behind Glyfada who won again next time (runner-up also won since); bred to improve on this softer ground; leading player.
Form: 7
OR:
W: 9st 3lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
From a family the trainer knows well; got outpaced on debut at this course (1m, yielding) 11 days ago; will need to take a sizeable step forward but the step up in trip is a plus.
Form:
OR:
W: 9st 3lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
Yard saddled the last two winners of this race; 62,000euros yearling; sister to Listed-placed 1m winner Clemmie C (RPR 103), closely related to three winners; dam 1m/9.5f winner; second in Naas barrier trial last month; market noted.
Form:
OR:
W: 9st 3lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
Tailed off behind third-placed Sangreal on 1m4f Cork debut last month; hard to fancy.

Vanir uniform
Form: 8
OR:
W: 9st 3lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
Second runner for yard; encouragement to be taken from Curragh maiden effort (1m2f, good) last month when beaten 6l in midfield; wouldn't need to improve an awful lot to get involved here.
Form:
OR:
W: 9st 3lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
First foal; dam Listed-placed 9.4f/1m2f winner (RPR 108), half-sister to winners Zarir (Group-placed 1m4f/13.5f) and Zarafshan (2m), out of 12.5f Group 3 winning half-sister to outstanding 1m-1m4f Group 1 winner Zarkava; highly respected for top connections.

Betting Forecast

33/1 Isabella Johnson, 200/1 Lady Luck, 6/1 Bofa Beach, 100/1 Lady In The Gods, 20/1 Lamar Valley, 7/1 Miss Romagna, 5/1 Pink Coral, 12/1 Saga Gaga, 3/1 Sangreal, 5/1 Shambata, 16/1 Spring Sprinter, 14/1 Terra Di Siena, 100/1 Tickle The Cat, 14/1 Vanir, 11/1 Zadawa

Verdict

The Irish Oaks-entered SANGREAL can make it third time lucky off the back of two eyecatching runs and she will handle underfoot conditions. Her chief danger is Shambata who should improve for softer ground, and Ballydoyle’s Pink Coral can’t be ruled out. Of the newcomers, Terra Di Siena and Zadawa appeal most. [Adrian Wall]
