W: 10st 2lb
Age: 4 yo Filly
Ran well when third in a Listed event at Ayr last September (5.5f, soft; final run for Mark Usher); unplaced in two Listed races for new stable in 2026; faces a more suitable challenge today and her apprentice takes off a valuable 7lb.
Form: 00-051 D
OR: 87
W: 9st 11lb
Age: 4 yo Filly
Returned to her best when winning a handicap with something to spare in first-time cheekpieces at Ripon (6f, good) four weeks ago; a 7lb rise asks a stiffer question of her today though.
Form: 1140- D
OR: 93
W: 9st 9lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
Won 6f novice events at Kempton and Ripon on her first two starts and ran a creditable race when fourth in the Group 2 Lowther Stakes over C&D last August; flopped on soft ground when last seen 265 days ago but that is easy enough to excuse; still has time to do better.
Form: 0-0000 D
OR: 85
W: 9st 9lb
Age: 6 yo Mare
Got on a roll in the second half of 2025, completing a quick hat-trick when landing the Portland Handicap at Doncaster (5.6f, good) in September; yet to get going this year and she is due to be 3lb lower from the weekend; hood now added.
Form: 22-377
OR: 82
W: 9st 6lb
Age: 4 yo Filly
Solid effort in a 6f handicap at Kempton on her reappearance but she has come up short in two runs since (stiff task latest); could prove vulnerable once more.
Form: 7453-7
OR: 78
W: 9st 2lb
Age: 5 yo Filly
Won twice at around 1m in June 2024; ran well dropped to 6f at Newmarket last June but absent for 283 days afterwards and finished well held at Kempton on her return to action in April; enough to prove for now.
Form: 256923 D
OR: 77
W: 9st 1lb
Age: 5 yo Filly
Good second over 7f at Yarmouth in April (cheekpieces first time); over 4l behind Beaujolais Nouveau at Ripon last month and a stiffer test at the trip might be preferable.
Form: 413-09 D
OR: 85
W: 9st 1lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
Prominent racer; easy win at Haydock last October and backed it up with a fine third in a Newmarket Listed race two weeks later (both 6f on good ground); little to shout about in two runs this year but she should find this company more manageable.

Cool Molly uniform
Form: 121130 D
OR: 81
W: 8st 11lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
In fine form on AW this year and she continued the good work back on turf when third of 12 at Chester's May meeting (7.6f, good); well beaten at Goodwood three weeks ago; also engaged 3.12 Chester Friday.
Form: 009-82
OR: 79
W: 8st 9lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
Chased home Beaujolais Nouveau at Ripon four weeks ago (6f, good) and she is 6lb better off for 2.25l; may find a couple stronger today.
11 (10)
Siouxpersonic uniform
Form: 271-24
OR: 78
W: 8st 8lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
5f AW win for Ed Bethell last September; better form when a close second at Ripon on her seasonal/stable debut at Ripon (6f, good); not so good at Hamilton 16 days ago when tried in a hood; now gets cheekpieces and needs to improve for them.
Form: 5-122 DBF
OR: 77
W: 8st 7lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
Returned from a six-month break to win a 6f fillies' maiden at Nottingham in decisive fashion; beaten at short odds twice since while leaving the impression she was still learning her craft; return to 6f can help; capable of better.

Betting Forecast

10/1 Rhyme Dust, 7/1 Beaujolais Nouveau, 9/2 Dandana, 16/1 Eternal Sunshine, 11/1 Lady Roxby, 33/1 Mercury Day, 9/1 Shallow, 9/1 Splish Splash, 14/1 Cool Molly, 10/1 Cotai Belle, 16/1 Siouxpersonic, 5/2 Bintaryana

Verdict

Dandana had a ground excuse on her final 2yo run and she had been progressing well beforehand. It wasn’t a vintage Lowther that she finished fourth in, however, and her opening mark will ask more of her. Bintaryana still has potential and is greatly respected but perhaps RHYME DUST can strike a blow for the older horses. She still has time to fulfil last season’s potential and the return to handicap company, with Harry Vigors taking off a handy 7lb, can see her bounce back to her best.[Paul Smith]
