Form: 143135 DBF
OR: 80
W: 9st 9lb
Age: 4 yo Gelding
Has won over 6f and 5f on the AW since March and he's perfectly capable on turf, though perhaps not on ground easier than good judged on latest run at Chepstow.
Form: 5-2625 D
OR: 79
W: 9st 8lb
Age: 6 yo Colt
Has registered two wins apiece on AW and turf; back from a break with a near miss at Nottingham and a length defeat at Goodwood, again over 5f on good ground; should run well again from stall 4; has form on all sorts of surfaces.

Form: 9-4043 D
OR: 78
W: 9st 7lb
Age: 5 yo Gelding
Multiple sprint winner who coped well with the rise in grade (Class 2) at Windsor on Monday and gets in here off a 3lb lower mark; that was from off the pace but can race prominently (drawn in 1); good chance.
Form: /11112
OR: 77
W: 9st 6lb
Age: 5 yo Filly
Only narrowly failed when bidding for a five-timer last week at Doncaster (6f, good to firm) and she's 3lb well-in on the back of that effort; whether she wants the ground slower than good is questionable, and her improvement has come at 6f.
Form: 253212 DBF
OR: 76
W: 9st 5lb
Age: 4 yo Gelding
Back in good form off his reduced mark, winning easily at Southwell (5f) before nearly defying a penalty at Chepstow (good to firm; effective on softer); 3lb higher for this but well drawn and must have a shout for all that he's back up in grade; Seamus Cronin aboard for last three races.
Form: -57073
OR: 75
W: 9st 4lb
Age: 4 yo Gelding
Both wins and best form has been on the AW over 6f; third over that far at Yarmouth last time but was comfortably held; back at 5f from a high draw, he looks up against it.
Form: 223-72 D
OR: 74
W: 9st 3lb
Age: 5 yo Filly
On a losing run but closely matched with Lequinto on their tight encounter at Windsor last time (5f, good) when she might have won but for hanging left late on; she doesn't always do that and has to be feared.
Form: 422313 CD
OR: 72
W: 9st 1lb
Age: 9 yo Gelding
Loves Windsor where he beat Kiss And Run before finishing third at Bath; has won here but usually runs in Class 5s.
Form: 6551-3 D
OR: 71
W: 9st 0lb
Age: 8 yo Gelding
Soon off the mark for this yard at Chelmsford (AW) in December and it was a fine return when quickly out of the stalls and finishing third of 18 at Ascot (again 6f, good to firm); respected off the same mark despite his unfavourable draw; goes on all ground.

Betting Forecast

10/1 Em Four, 5/1 Nogos Dream, 9/2 Marching Mac, 3/1 Betties Bay, 7/1 Cayman Tai, 10/1 Carbine Harvester, 8/1 Kiss And Run, 8/1 Lequinto, 10/1 Fantasy Master

Verdict

Provided he can get away on terms to exploit his good draw, MARCHING MAC might be the answer off a 3lb lower mark than when close up in a higher grade at Windsor on Monday. Nogo’s Dream is back in good form and versatile ground-wise, while Fantasy Master would have a chance if not scuppered by the widest stall.[Alistair Jones]
