Form: /332-9
OR: 129
W: 11st 10lb
Age: 6 yo Filly
Sole win came in a Huntingdon 2m maiden hurdle in January last year, but she has a string of respectable placed efforts since and wasn't beaten through lack of stamina on her first try beyond 3m latest; appears to be on a tough mark but may improve for going back over fences, having run well in France in March 2024 on her sole previous chase start; handles most ground.
Form: F743-2
OR: 118
W: 10st 13lb
Age: 7 yo Gelding
Bumper and two-time novice hurdle winner who built on a solid sequence of placed form in staying handicap hurdles when switched to fences at Worcester (2m7f, good) a fortnight ago, jumping soundly and finishing second to a Dan Skelton-trained favourite; main concern is the forecast rain, as he has been confined to good ground.

Form: /04-11 CD
OR: 117
W: 10st 12lb
Age: 7 yo Gelding
Point and hurdle winner on soft ground; has improved for the switch to fences, making it 2-2 with a strong staying performance over C&D last month, both wins coming under Freddie Gingell; up another 4lb, but he remains open to further progress and may well complete the hat-trick.
Form: 0047-1
OR: 112
W: 10st 7lb
Age: 6 yo Gelding
Deep-ground 2m2f hurdle winner in France last summer but his form dipped soon after, including in one start over fences; however, he made the perfect start for his new stable when landing a Worcester handicap hurdle (2m7f, good) last month off a 5lb lower mark and looks the type to do better over fences; interesting contender.

Betting Forecast

4/1 La Pinsonniere, 3/1 Court In A Storm, 5/4 Rickety Bridge, 4/1 Dexperts Opinion

Verdict

Dexperts Opinion left a favourable impression when winning over hurdles last month and looks the type to do better over fences, a view that also applies to Court In A Storm (second choice) who looks sure to win in this sphere but the forecast rain is a concern. RICKETY BRIDGE (nap) is 2-2 since switched to fences and the 4lb rise for his latest C&D win may not be enough to stop him following up. Topweight La Pinsonniere is certainly not out of this.
