Form:

W: 10st 7lb
Age: 4 yo Gelding
Second foal; half-brother to 7f/1m AW winner McLean House (RPR 94); dam placed 7f (73), out of 1m2f winner, is granddaughter of Group-placed 1m6f winning sister to Derby winner Commander In Chief; others more likely.
Form: 9
OR:
W: 10st 7lb
Age: 4 yo Gelding
Well beaten on AW debut last month (10.5f, 125-1); unlikely.
Form:

W: 10st 2lb

Bumper/hurdles/chase winner makes her Flat debut now; has run well after breaks before and won on good ground; interesting contender.
Form:
OR:

Age: 4 yo Filly
Tailed off on debut at Down Royal over 7f; can only be watched after that; dual headgear applied.

Bell Ex Too uniform
Form: 65
OR:
W: 9st 6lb
Age: 3 yo Gelding
Nice pedigree and fared okay in a strong Curragh maiden on debut on soft/heavy at the Curragh, beaten 17.5l into sixth; never better than midfield over 1m4f at Dundalk last time; more needed.
Form: P-
OR:
W: 9st 6lb
Age: 3 yo Gelding
Purchased for 320,000euros as a yearling; brother to some decent types but made no impression in a 6.5f barrier trial in August; stopped quickly and pulled up on rules debut at Dundalk in November (1m); tongue tie goes on but best watched for the moment.
Form:
OR:
W: 9st 6lb
Age: 3 yo Gelding
30,000euros yearling; second foal; half-brother to 1m2f winner Heiselectric (RPR 89); dam unraced half-sister to winners Zoffman (1m2f/1m4f Flat and 2m hurdle) and Sheishybrid (12.6f/2m2f Flat and 2m1f/2m2f hurdle), out of half-sister to Gold Cup winner Big Orange; check market.
Form:
OR:
W: 9st 6lb
Age: 3 yo Gelding
Beat just one rival at Navan when 80-1 (1m2f, good to yielding); others make more appeal.
Form: 3
OR:
W: 9st 6lb
Age: 3 yo Gelding
Chased home two experienced rivals with decent form on debut at Navan (1m2f, yielding); that was a positive first run and marks him out as a big player with normal improvement.
Form:
OR:
W: 9st 6lb
Age: 3 yo Gelding
Half-brother to 5f/6f winner Dc Flyer (inc 2yo/AW; RPR 69); dam unraced half-sister to useful winners Eastern Romance (5f 2yo inc Listed), Sea Hunter (5f-7f), Blue Tomato (5f/6f) and Silaah (5f-7f).
OUR TIP
Form: 82-36
OR: 85
W: 9st 6lb
Age: 3 yo Gelding
Sets a decent standard here off a mark of 85; beaten a nose over 7f at Dundalk on second handicap start in November and made a positive seasonal return at Navan in April when a 3l third of 18 (1m2f, good to yielding); Navan handicap debut last time was below his best (1m2f, yielding); evidence to date suggests this new trip is within reach.
Form:
OR:
W: 9st 6lb
Age: 3 yo Gelding
Never dangerous for his Gowran debut when beaten 23l (1m, good to yielding); Mr Ballynonty looks the most appealing of the trainer's pair.

Stabannon uniform
Form:
OR:
W: 9st 6lb
Age: 3 yo Gelding
Huge odds for Curragh debut (1m2f, good, 300-1) and finished 22l behind; unlikely.
Form: 583
OR:
W: 9st 6lb
Age: 3 yo Gelding
Similar efforts in opening maidens but improved to take third over 1m2f here last time when third despite 125-1 odds (good); others preferred.
Form: 65
OR:
W: 9st 1lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
Solid sixth at Navan over 1m2f (good to yielding) at 80-1; didn't appear to get home on soft ground at Cork over an extended 1m2f last time; up in trip now with Keane aboard for the first time.
17 (16)
Spa Rose uniform
Form:
OR:
W: 9st 1lb
Age: 3 yo Filly
Tailed off on debut at Cork last month (10.5f, soft); hard to fancy on that evidence.

Verdict

Although he was below his best in a handicap last time, NOW MAYBE sets a good standard following positive maiden outings and may get the job done. It will be no surprise if Mr Ballynonty emerges as the main danger following a good first run at Navan when behind experienced rivals. Ma Belle Etoile is a decent jumps horse making her Flat debut now. [Denis Harney]
