Form: 412-05 D

W: 9st 8lb
Age: 4 yo Gelding
Only win came at this trip on heavy ground at Salisbury last September when trained by Roger Teal; good second at Newbury the following month (1m2f, soft); changed hands for 31,000gns in February; had wind op in March; yet to hit top form for new connections.
Form: 6-3249
OR: 79
W: 9st 8lb
Age: 5 yo Gelding
Won twice over 1m for Andrew Slattery in Ireland last year; beaten nearly 9l over 7f here last time (good); now back up in trip but pulled too hard on only previous try at 1m2f; bit to prove.
Form: 531-71
OR: 78
W: 9st 7lb
Age: 4 yo Gelding
Has won two of his last three races, both at around 1m on good ground, the latest at Salisbury last month; tries 1m2f for the first time, is on a career-high mark and has a poor draw, so a bit to prove.
Form: 7-1294 DBF
OR: 78
W: 9st 7lb
Age: 4 yo Gelding
Put up 4lb for his Redcar win in April (1m2f, good to firm) but good second off this mark at Doncaster next time (1m4f, good to firm); hasn't done quite as well since; poor deaw.
Form: 21-053
OR: 78
W: 9st 7lb
Age: 4 yo Gelding
20,000gns buy in October having won a 1m maiden on heavy ground at Leopardstown for Paddy Twomey in September; fair third stepped up to 1m2f at Chester last time (good to soft); any rain a positive.
OUR TIP
Form: 390-32 DBF
OR: 76
W: 9st 5lb
Age: 5 yo Gelding
1m2f on fast ground suits and comes into the reckoning after two sound placed efforts at Ripon this season, beaten a head into second place last time; chance.
Form: 110481 D
OR: 76
W: 9st 5lb
Age: 4 yo Gelding
Three 1m2f wins already this year, the latest at Beverley last month (good to firm); has gone up a total of 11lb but only 3lb higher than last win so could go well despite a tricky draw.
Form: 55-434 DBF
OR: 74
W: 9st 3lb
Age: 5 yo Gelding
Has done well with cheekpieces, winning twice at 1m2f at Sandown last summer (good/soft); acts on fast ground and following three fair runs this season has an each-way chance.

Jez Bomb uniform
Form: 362304 D
OR: 74
W: 9st 3lb
Age: 5 yo Gelding
Won four races from 1m-1m2f last season, including two on fast ground; well beaten over 1m4f here in May, but bounced back with a sound fourth at Carlisle last time (1m, good to firm); on a fair mark now.
Form: 23-597 D
OR: 74
W: 9st 3lb
Age: 7 yo Gelding
Not the best of strike-rates and not been in top form this year; cheekpieces now tried but has a tricky draw to overcome; well handicapped now.
Form: 456235 D
OR: 73
W: 9st 2lb
Age: 7 yo Gelding
Eight of his nine wins have been on the AW, including a hat-trick in February last year; pulled too hard when well beaten last time but had run two sound races ar Redcar prior to that (1m2f, good to firm); worth considering from his inside draw.
14 (18)
Narmar uniform
Form: 342-00
OR: 73
W: 9st 2lb
Age: 6 yo Colt
Ex-Henry de Bromhead; Ffos Las winner for current yard in June last year (1m, good to soft), but has beaten just two horses home in his two runs this term.
Form: 5006-6 CD
OR: 73
W: 9st 2lb
Age: 8 yo Gelding
Won a 17-runner C&D handicap for amateur riders last June (good) but didn't run as well again; having second run since a wind op but has a wide draw to overcome.
16 (5)
Triple Force uniform
Form: 118-04 D
OR: 72
W: 9st 1lb
Age: 5 yo Gelding
Went up 20lb for his four wins last season and has found life much tougher this term; fair run last time at Beverley but plenty to find with the winner, Mao Shang Wong.
Form: 7-0653 CD
OR: 70
W: 8st 13lb
Age: 7 yo Gelding
A pound lower than when beating 19 rivals to win this race by 3l last season (good to firm; drawn 2); hasn't been in quite such good form this term, but his best run was when third to Mao Shang Wong at Beverley last time; could go well again but stall 20 far from ideal.
18 (11)
Izzari uniform
Form: 46-480 D
OR: 70
W: 8st 13lb
Age: 5 yo Gelding
Has won on turf (1m on good ground at Musselburgh in April last year) but seems better on the AW and has run well below his best on last two starts.
Form: 449141 CD
OR: 65
W: 8st 12lb
Age: 11 yo Gelding
Tough veteran who is having his 127th race; two wins already this season, latest at Musselburgh last week (1m1f, good) when he had to pull out all the stops; could go well again from a good draw, particularly if the going eases.
20 (9)
Queen Roslyn uniform
Form: 17115-
OR: 63
W: 8st 6lb
Age: 5 yo Filly
Won three on the Flat last season, including a 1m4f seller at Beverley in July (1m4f, good to firm); winner over hurdles in March (2m1f, soft) and returns after wind surgery the following month.

6/1 Say What You See, 12/1 Epictetus, 25/1 Northwest Passage, 33/1 Harry The Rogue, 8/1 Dovey Moon, 8/1 Mafting, 25/1 Naples, 7/1 Glistening Nights, 5/1 Mao Shang Wong, 14/1 Beach Point, 14/1 Jez Bomb, 20/1 Austrian Theory, 25/1 Urban Road, 50/1 Narmar, 14/1 Titian, 25/1 Triple Force, 12/1 Dawn Of Liberation, 33/1 Izzari, 10/1 Poets Dawn, 20/1 Queen Roslyn

Verdict

Last year’s winner Dawn Of Liberation is back on a winning mark but has a tough task from stall 20, and the two that appeal most in an open race are last month’s Beverley winner Mo Shang Wong and the in-form GLISTENING HEIGHTS with the latter preferred on account of his better draw.[Colin Russell]
